  thinking about switching back to the baulz journal. sorry.
i know i'm going to lose even more readers during the transition.

in the meantime, today i went out of state. on the way there i had to pay two tolls ($1.00 and $1.50).
on the way back, i figured i'd be smart and avoid those tolls by taking an alternative route.
i wound up getting lost; around 100 miles away from my home; and wound up paying four tolls ($1.00, $1.60, $ .80 and $ .30) to get back.
who is smart now?

things just haven't been the same since i had my heart broken.

  i was walking down the entertainment section at wal-mart and wondered are people still mad at hitler?
i mean because of him we got great video games like "medal of honor" and TV shows like "band of brothers".

  i drank from a water fountain today for the first time since graduating high school.
at first i thought "surely this can't be true. i must've had a drink from a water fountain since high school. maybe in college?"
but, no, not even in college.
(and then i said, "don't call me shirley.")
not even in the lecture halls and not even in the various academic buildings.
when one is neither in school nor working in an office building, water fountains are hard to come by.
i found mine in a shopping mall next to the washrooms.

  i don't know if it's because of the weather but for some reason, no matter what i do, i can't seem to quench my thirst. i'm constantly thirsty; it's getting to the point where i drink five cans of soda in one sitting
my brother called me the other night and asked, "hey, i'm headed to wendy's. is there anything you want me to pick up?" and i answered, "fries and the largest coke they have." a couple of minutes later he called back and said, "change of plans. what do you want from portillo's instead?" and i replied, "get me the largest coke they have. that's it."
my brother thought i was joking but i was serious.
dead serious.

or maybe i should say undead serious.
because now i'm beginning to wonder if maybe the spiders that bit me were vampire-spiders and my insatiable thirst stems from the fact that now i'm turning into a vampire.

  i walked into a spider web earlier tonight while i was walking towards my car.
literally, for the next hour and a half, whenever i ran my hands through my hair, my fingers would get caught in a fresh webbing.
i found it odd until i realized that maybe the webs are being shot out from my wrists à la spider-man's webshooters.

good news everyone (bad news for bad guys), my powers have started to manifest.

  i have two vacuums - one is the eureka superbroom! and the other is a dirt devil vision.
today, while vacuuming my room, i noticed that the vacuum i was using was dirty so i decided to take the second vacuum and use it to vacuum the first.

  i got two big cuts on my arm along with a nasty burn so, along with neosporin, i covered them up with my spider-man band-aid.
this morning i woke up with six insect bites, possibly from spiders.

  i just got done watching the movie "the chronicles of narnia : the lion, the witch and the wardrobe" and i was distracted by the fact that these must be some of the ugliest children ever filmed.
also, i'd like to nominate edmund pevensie as one of the dumbest characters in literary history.

  some time in the 80s, marvel comics used to have half a page towards the back of issues dedicated to character profiles.
amongst other things, they listed real name, aliases, etc.
they used to also list marital status and, being young, i thought it meant the character's martial arts background. usually it read "single" so i assumed it meant that they only knew a single form of martial arts. but there were several times when it read "divorced" or "married" and those were the times the young version of me was puzzled.

  i'm wondering why skulls and bones are a popular theme in recent fashion?
it seems every clothing store and every brand has a skull and/or bones somewhere on their tops.
